“Perhaps the most ravishing sound I heard this year.”
– Alex Ross, The New Yorker
Ranked by Gramophone as one of the world’s top 20 choirs, UK-based Stile Antico is firmly established as one of today’s most outstanding and creative vocal ensembles. Working without a conductor, its twelve singers have thrilled audiences worldwide with their fresh, vibrant and moving performances of Renaissance polyphony. The group has received three Grammy nominations and performed live at the 60th Grammy Awards in 2018.
In their Hong Kong debut, they will bring their personal favourites in a rich and enticingly varied journey through some of the most outstanding music of the Renaissance. For those new to the repertoire, this programme provides the audience with an engaging introduction to Renaissance vocal music, while also offering existing fans the chance to hear some “old favourites”.
Tallis Vocalis is proud to co-present this concert with Premiere Performances of Hong Kong (PPHK).
